Architectural Glazing

LDG Contracts have built up extensive experience from working within the commercial glazing industry and as a result we are able to offer Architectural Glazing of the highest quality. We are able to offer a bespoke service which includes practical advice and guidance throughout the project and to completion.

Glazing is no longer limited to windows and doors; Architectural Glazing offers our architects and designers a highly versatile building material which can be used in a variety of different ways. Architectural glass can be used for curtain walling, internal partitions and as an architectural feature but its most typical application is as a transparent material in the building structure.

The types of architectural glass are numerous and include sheet glass, rolled plate glass, polished plate glass, figure rolled glass, float glass, prism glass or tempered glass. When used as a building material, architectural glass is often of a certain safety type; including reinforced, toughened and laminated.

When conducting an Architectural Glazing project our highly experienced team of Draughtsmen use a selection of CAD packages enabling them to follow projects from initial enquiry through detailed drawings to the final design approved by our client.
