LDG Contracts has further increased its in house manufacturing and operation plant, making it the ideal FIRST ‘ONE STOP SHOP’ for aluminium windows, doors, curtain walling and entrance screens.
With the ever increasing demand put on Companies by Architects and Main Contractors wanting shorter lead times, putting many of our competitors under pressure, LDG Contracts can now give the Architects and Main Contractors just what they need and when they want it for the first time in the North West of England.
Two and a half years ago the Company decided to invest in purchasing its own Powder Coating Plant to enable aluminium to be powder coated in house, rather than wait for this process to be done by other sub contractors. This has assisted in allowing LDG Contracts to give the customer what they want, when they want it with much shorter lead times and at the same time, allowing
LDG to increase productivity and be in control from bar length to produce a completed quality product.
The in house investment within the powder coating plant has an automatic wash with a 3 cycle system which cleans, washes and acid etches. To continually improve this system we have recently purchased a new water back spray booth and a 7 metre Box Oven from RDM, who are the leaders in the manufacture of spraying machinery, which again will improve both production and quality.
In addition to the above investment, LDG contracts has purchased its own Press Brake and Guillotine so we can manufacture our own pressings and brackets which sits nicely next to the powder coating plant. The investment and location of both these plants again, allows everything to be done on one site enhancing and improving quality, production and lead times, for our ever demanding clients.
